Modern Warfare® II Warzone 2.0’s Getting Stats Soon
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 players will soon get their wish. Combat Records is the latest online shooter. The midseason update to Season 01 Reloaded will be available on December 14. It sounds great. It’s a new start. No information from games played before this date will count toward your stats.
The Combat Record logs your performance and that of other players, such as kill/death ratios and killstreaks. Players have long wished for it to be available in Warzone 2.0 since November. Activision has released a blog today revealing that the much-anticipated patch comes with a significant caveat.
“Record will only include data from the activation date forward and will not include statistics for Season 01 launch through to Season 01 Reloaded (November 16 – December 14),” read our update blog.

This news is a heavy blow to competitive players. Nothing you do before December 14th will be officially recorded. Have you had a killstreak if you did not publish your best kill streak, and there is no Combat Record to record it?

This one is not as bad or as terrible as many fans make it seem. Understandably, they are frustrated, especially considering that Combat Record was a common CoD feature that was missing at launch. Warzone 2.0’s launch was also one of the most frustrating and bugged launches this year. Fans’ goodwill could be more enjoyable than it seems.
In the time between now and December 14th, when statistics will finally begin to be recorded, you can still focus your attention on anticipating any midseason updates Warzone 2.0 is receiving, such as a Rocket League-inspired Warzone Cup featuring ATVs. You could also just play the game.
